This strategy is simple, we will use what I call linkbuilding by broken link method

So what exactly am I talking about?

Now, broken links are links on a website that no longer works.

So if you have a broken link on a website and you click on such a url, it will return either a 404 error or a 410 error status. Anything could cause a link to be broken, but that is not what our focus is in this video

So, how does broken links relate to backlinks and how do you build backlinks to your website with broken links?

It’s simple

Most times, what you usually do to try get backlinks is to extract the contact of website owners and then mail them, asking if they will be willing to link to you.

The problem is that 90 out of 100 of these website owners dont get to respond positively

But here, we will be doing somethig a bit different,

so, what you want to do is to first identify websites that you want to get backlinks from, you can do this by going to an seo tool like ubersuggest and use the backlink feature to get tons of websites that have very high probability to link to your website

So, after you have identified these websites, the next thing you want to do is to offer a kind of value to the website owners,

how? it’s easy

Just install a Chrome extension called Check My Links

This extension will help you identify all the broken links that are found on each of these websites that you have extracted

(trust me, you will find quite a number of them)

Now, for each website that you can notice these broken links, go ahead and check any of your own blog article or web pages that is very much related to these bad links on these websites, if you dont have, then go ahead, write and publish a great article on your own website that is related to that broken link on this website that you are trying to link your website to

This will be easy because these websites are afterall all related to your website, right?

Once you are done, go ahead and contact the owners of these website and let them know that, they have broken links on their pages and then show them the pages where these broken links are are, of course, broken links are very undesirable and they will negatively impact the SEO Score of any website, so these web owners will be quick to appreciate your observation and straight away will be looking for how to rembve, fix or replace this critical errors on their website

And that’s where it gets sweet,

tell them not to worry about it because you have perfect blog articles or web pages that they can easily link to while removing the broken links, then offer them your well crafted blog articles. If your articles are great, they will easily jump at such amazing help and then everybody wins
